Our story

A Heritage of Restoration, Revival, and Apostolic Faith

Our church began with a God-given vision to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, restore lives through the power of the Holy Spirit, and prepare people for the Kingdom of God. Originally established and registered as Jesus Restoration Ministries in both the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the United States of America, the ministry faithfully served communities through evangelism, discipleship, prayer, and the teaching of God's Word.

In 2026, after much prayer, spiritual guidance, and careful consideration, our ministry entered into fellowship with Christ Apostolic Church Nigeria and Overseas (CAC), one of the oldest indigenous Pentecostal movements in Africa. This decision reflected our commitment to biblical truth, apostolic doctrine, holiness, revival, and the historic Pentecostal heritage established through the ministry of our fathers in the faith.

Following this transition, our ministry officially adopted the name Christ Apostolic Church, Redemption Centre. The name change was duly registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in Nigeria and with the Secretary of State in the United States, ensuring that our ministry continues to operate in full legal compliance in both countries.

Our Apostolic Heritage

As a branch of Christ Apostolic Church Nigeria and Overseas, we joyfully embrace the rich spiritual heritage of the movement that emerged from the great revival of the early twentieth century. We are deeply inspired by the life and ministry of our late father in the Lord, Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola, whose unwavering faith, holiness, fervent prayer, evangelistic passion, and dependence upon the power of the Holy Spirit continue to influence generations of believers around the world.

While we worship Jesus Christ alone as our Lord and Savior, we honor the legacy of Apostle Ayo Babalola as a faithful servant whom God used mightily during the historic revival that transformed countless lives across Nigeria and beyond. His example encourages us to pursue a life of consecration, humility, prayer, obedience to God's Word, and complete dependence upon the Holy Spirit.

As currently structured, Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Nigeria and Overseas is divided into twelve (12) administrative Regions to enhance effective governance, pastoral oversight, evangelism, and the overall administration of the church. These regional structures were approved by the church authority in 2017 and became fully operational in 2018.

The Adelaja Region, with its headquarters in Kano, oversees the Kano and Yola Conference Centres. The Medayese Region, headquartered in Abuja, is responsible for the Northern and Middle Belt States. The Olutimehin Region, based in Port Harcourt, provides oversight for Rivers State and the surrounding areas.

The Babalola Region, headquartered in Ibadan, covers Oyo and Osun States, while the Odubanjo Region, based in Akure, oversees Ondo and Ekiti States. The Hanson Region, headquartered in Benin City, is responsible for Edo and Delta States. The Odusona Region, headquartered in Enugu, serves the Eastern States.

The Babajide Region, headquartered in Odo-Owa, oversees Kwara and Kogi States, while the Akinyele Region, based in Lagos, oversees Lagos and Ogun States.

Outside Nigeria, the Latunde Region, headquartered at CAC Village, USA, oversees North America, including the United States and Canada. The Anosike Region, headquartered in London, provides leadership for Europe, while the Orogun Region, headquartered in The Gambia, oversees other African countries outside Nigeria. These regional structures enable the church to provide effective spiritual leadership, coordinate missionary activities, and maintain administrative unity across Nigeria and the international mission fields.
